चेलावेधांस्ततश्चक्रुर्हाहाकारांश्च सर्वशः ।
न्यपतंश्चात्र नभसः समन्तात्पुष्पवृष्टयः ॥१८॥

18. celāvedhān tataḥ cakruḥ hāhākārān ca sarvaśaḥ
nyapatan ca atra nabhasaḥ samantāt puṣpavṛṣṭayaḥ

18. Then, everywhere, there were sounds of garments splitting and cries of lamentation. And, from all directions, showers of flowers fell from the sky onto that spot.
