महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-171, verse-6

सामरैर्हि यदा लोकैर्भृगूणां क्षत्रियाधमैः ।
आगर्भोत्सादनं क्षान्तं तदा मां मन्युराविषत् ॥६॥
6. sāmarairhi yadā lokairbhṛgūṇāṁ kṣatriyādhamaiḥ ,
āgarbhotsādanaṁ kṣāntaṁ tadā māṁ manyurāviṣat.
6. sāmaraiḥ hi yadā lokaiḥ bhṛgūṇām kṣatriyādhamaiḥ
āgarbhotsādanam kṣāntam tadā mām manyuḥ āviṣat
6. Indeed, when the people, along with the gods, and even the lowest of kṣatriyas, tolerated the complete destruction of the Bhrigus, even to the point of aborting fetuses, then wrath (manyu) entered me.
