महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-171, verse-21

वसिष्ठ उवाच ।
ततस्तं क्रोधजं तात और्वोऽग्निं वरुणालये ।
उत्ससर्ज स चैवाप उपयुङ्क्ते महोदधौ ॥२१॥
21. vasiṣṭha uvāca ,
tatastaṁ krodhajaṁ tāta aurvo'gniṁ varuṇālaye ,
utsasarja sa caivāpa upayuṅkte mahodadhau.
21. vasiṣṭha uvāca tatas tam krodhajam tāta aurvaḥ agnim
varuṇālaye utsasarja sa ca eva āpaḥ upayuṅkte mahodadhau
21. Vasiṣṭha said: "Then, O dear one, Aurva released that fire (agni), born of his anger, into Varuṇa's abode. And that fire (agni) indeed consumes the waters in the great ocean."
