महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-171, verse-18

आपोमयाः सर्वरसाः सर्वमापोमयं जगत् ।
तस्मादप्सु विमुञ्चेमं क्रोधाग्निं द्विजसत्तम ॥१८॥
18. āpomayāḥ sarvarasāḥ sarvamāpomayaṁ jagat ,
tasmādapsu vimuñcemaṁ krodhāgniṁ dvijasattama.

apsu vimuñca imam krodhāgnim dvijasattama
18. All essences are water-borne, and the entire world is composed of water. Therefore, O best among twice-born (dvija) ones, release this fire of anger into the waters.
