त्वदर्थं हि विशालाक्षि मामयं निशितैः शरैः ।
कामः कमलगर्भाभे प्रतिविध्यन्न शाम्यति ॥८॥

8. Indeed, O lady with wide eyes (viśālākṣi), O lady with the radiance of a lotus's heart (kamalagarbhābhe), it is for your sake that this god of love (Kāma) ceaselessly pierces me with his sharp arrows and does not calm down.

8. הו רחבת העיניים, בגללך התשוקה הזאת פוגעת בי בחיצים חדים ואינה נרגעת, הו בעלת הזוהר של לב הלוטוס.
