महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-14, verse-6

ते भार्ये कश्यपस्यास्तां कद्रूश्च विनता च ह ।
प्रादात्ताभ्यां वरं प्रीतः प्रजापतिसमः पतिः ।
कश्यपो धर्मपत्नीभ्यां मुदा परमया युतः ॥६॥
6. te bhārye kaśyapasyāstāṁ kadrūśca vinatā ca ha ,
prādāttābhyāṁ varaṁ prītaḥ prajāpatisamaḥ patiḥ ,
kaśyapo dharmapatnībhyāṁ mudā paramayā yutaḥ.
6. te bhārye kaśyapasya āstām kadrūḥ ca
vinatā ca ha prādāt tābhyām varam
prītaḥ prajāpatisamaḥ patiḥ kaśyapaḥ
dharmapatnībhyām mudā paramayā yutaḥ
6. Those two, Kadrū and Vinatā, were indeed Kaśyapa's wives. Kaśyapa, their husband, who was pleased, joyful, and equal to Prajapati, granted a boon to his two lawful wives.
