महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-14, verse-23

आदास्यन्नात्मनो भोज्यमन्नं विहितमस्य यत् ।
विधात्रा भृगुशार्दूल क्षुधितस्य बुभुक्षतः ॥२३॥
23. ādāsyannātmano bhojyamannaṁ vihitamasya yat ,
vidhātrā bhṛguśārdūla kṣudhitasya bubhukṣataḥ.

23. O best of the Bhṛgus, [Garuḍa], who was hungry and desirous of eating, was about to consume his own food, which had been ordained for him by the Creator.
