ततोऽहं दुःखितो भूयः कदम्बतरुतापसम् ।
गतो दुःखोपघाताय तज्ज्ञानं प्रष्टुमादृतः ॥ ७ ॥

7. Then, distressed again, I went to the ascetic (tapasvin) under the Kadamba tree, eager to ask him for his knowledge, so that my sorrow might be alleviated.

7. לאחר מכן, מתוך סבלי הרב, הלכתי ביראת כבוד אל הפרוש שמתחת לעץ הקַדַמְבַּה כדי לבקש את הידע הזה שישים קץ לסבלי.
