19. I remember a singular universe, with unsurpassed lofty formations like tālı̄, tamāla, and bakula trees, possessing the roar and speed of the wind. Devoid of the sun and other celestial bodies, it shone forth with its own radiance, encompassing all that is stationary – like mountains and shores – as well as all that moves.
