विषयाशा दृशो यावत्तावद्यातः क्षणादहम् ।
पुनस्तथैव पश्यंस्तु दृश्यं यातः पुनःपुनः ॥ १४ ॥

As long as the desire for sense objects (viṣayāśā) was present in my sight, I was instantly drawn away by it. Then, seeing those very objects (dṛśyam) again and again in the same manner, I repeatedly pursued them.
