योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-30, verse-28

चित्रार्पितोपमदुराकृतयो निरीहा दीनाशया हि महताम्बुरुहोपमानाः ।
शोकोपतप्तमनसोऽसुरनायकास्ते दग्धद्रुमा इव निरस्तविकारमासन् ॥ २८ ॥

28. Indeed, those demon chiefs, whose forms were as unmoving as figures painted in a picture, became devoid of desire and had pitiable hopes. Their minds were afflicted by sorrow. They were like great lotuses and like burnt trees, completely devoid of activity.
