रामोपाख्यान       rāmopākhyāna - chapter-1, verse-7

एतदाचक्ष्व मे सर्वं विस्तरेण तपोधन ।
श्रोतुमिच्छामि चरितं भूरिद्रविणतेजसाम् ।
कथ्यमानं त्वया विप्र परं कौतूहलं हि मे ॥७॥
7. etadācakṣva me sarvaṁ vistareṇa tapodhana ,
śrotumicchāmi caritaṁ bhūridraviṇatejasām ,
kathyamānaṁ tvayā vipra paraṁ kautūhalaṁ hi me.
7. etat ācakṣva me sarvam vistareṇa
tapodhana śrotum icchāmi caritam
bhūridraviṇatejasām kathyāmanam
tvayā vipra param kautūhalam hi me
7. O ascetic (tapodhana), please tell me all of this in detail. I desire to hear the story of those who possessed immense wealth and splendor. Indeed, O Brahmin, my curiosity (kautūhala) is great when it is being narrated by you.
