वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तथानुमन्त्रितास्तेन धर्मराजेन ताः प्रजाः ।
चक्रुरार्तस्वरं घोरं हा राजन्निति दुःखिताः ॥३७॥

37. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tathānumantritāstena dharmarājena tāḥ prajāḥ ,
cakrurārtasvaraṁ ghoraṁ hā rājanniti duḥkhitāḥ.

Vaiśampāyana said: Thus advised by that king (Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira), those sorrowful subjects made a terrible sound of distress, crying out, "Alas, O King!"
