स तु तेनैव तं यक्षं तोरणेन समाहनत् ।
नादृश्यत तदा यक्षो भस्म तेन कृतस्तु सः ॥२४॥

nādṛśyata tadā yakṣo bhasma tena kṛtastu saḥ.

adṛśyata tadā yakṣaḥ bhasma tena kṛtaḥ tu saḥ

24. However, he (Daśagrīva) struck that yakṣa with that very archway. Then the yakṣa was not seen, for he had indeed been reduced to ashes by (Daśagrīva).
