वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-56, verse-16

तदिदं मामनुप्राप्तं विभीषणवचः शुभम् ।
यदज्ञानान्मया तस्य न गृहीतं महात्मनः ॥१६॥
16. tadidaṃ māmanuprāptaṃ vibhīṣaṇavacaḥ śubham ,
yadajñānānmayā tasya na gṛhītaṃ mahātmanaḥ.
16. tad idam mām anuprāptam vibhīṣaṇavacaḥ śubham
| yat ajñānāt mayā tasya na gṛhītam mahātmanaḥ
16. idam śubham vibhīṣaṇavacaḥ tat mām anuprāptam
yat mayā ajñānāt tasya mahātmanaḥ na gṛhītam
16. This auspicious counsel of Vibhīṣaṇa has now reached me, which, due to ignorance, I did not accept from that great soul (mahātman).
