वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-56, verse-15

देवा हि मां हसिष्यन्ति दृष्ट्वा पूर्वापकारिणम् ।
कथमिन्द्रं जयिष्यामि कुम्भकर्णहते त्वयि ॥१५॥
15. devā hi māṃ hasiṣyanti dṛṣṭvā pūrvāpakāriṇam ,
kathamindraṃ jayiṣyāmi kumbhakarṇahate tvayi.

katham indram jayiṣyāmi kumbhakarṇahate tvayi

15. Indeed, the gods will laugh at me when they see me, a former wrongdoer. How shall I conquer Indra when you, Kumbhakarṇa, are slain?
