वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-56, verse-14

अद्यैव तं गमिष्यामि देशं यत्रानुजो मम ।
न हि भ्रातॄन् समुत्सृज्य क्षणं जीवितुमुत्सहे ॥१४॥
14. adyaiva taṃ gamiṣyāmi deśaṃ yatrānujo mama ,
na hi bhrātṝn samutsṛjya kṣaṇaṃ jīvitumutsahe.
14. adyā eva tam gamiṣyāmi deśam yatra anujaḥ mama
| na hi bhrātṝn samutsṛjya kṣaṇam jīvitum utsahe
14. adyā eva tam deśam gamiṣyāmi yatra mama anujaḥ
hi bhrātṝn samutsṛjya kṣaṇam jīvitum na utsahe
14. Today itself I shall go to that land where my younger brother is. Indeed, I cannot bear to live even for a moment after having abandoned my brothers.
