वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-10, verse-15

सुनीतं हितकामेन वाक्यमुक्तं दशानन ।
न गृह्णन्त्यकृतात्मानः कालस्य वशमागताः ॥१५॥
15. sunītaṃ hitakāmena vākyamuktaṃ daśānana ,
na gṛhṇantyakṛtātmānaḥ kālasya vaśamāgatāḥ.

gṛhṇanti akṛtātmānaḥ kālasya vaśam āgatāḥ
15. daśānana hitakāmena sunītam uktam vākyam

15. O Daśānana, good counsel, spoken by one who desires your welfare, is not accepted by those whose inner being (ātman) is unrefined and who have fallen under the dominion of time.
