वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-21, verse-8

तस्य पुत्रो विशालाक्षि रावणः शत्रुरावणः ।
तस्य त्वं राक्षसेन्द्रस्य भार्या भवितुमर्हसि ।
मयोक्तं चारुसर्वाङ्गि वाक्यं किं नानुमन्यसे ॥८॥
8. tasya putro viśālākṣi rāvaṇaḥ śatrurāvaṇaḥ ,
tasya tvaṃ rākṣasendrasya bhāryā bhavitumarhasi ,
mayoktaṃ cārusarvāṅgi vākyaṃ kiṃ nānumanyase.
8. tasya putraḥ viśālākṣi rāvaṇaḥ
śatrurāvaṇaḥ tasya tvaṃ rākṣasendrasya
bhāryā bhavitum arhasi mayā uktaṃ
cārusarvāṅgi vākyaṃ kiṃ na anumanyase
8. O wide-eyed one, his son is Rāvaṇa, who makes his enemies cry out in terror. You should become the wife of that king of rākṣasas (rākṣasendra). O beautiful-limbed one, why do you not accept my words?
