वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-6, verse-7

स निरीक्ष्य ततो वीरं रामं धर्मभृतां वरम् ।
समाश्लिष्य च बाहुभ्यामिदं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥७॥
7. sa nirīkṣya tato vīraṃ rāmaṃ dharmabhṛtāṃ varam ,
samāśliṣya ca bāhubhyāmidaṃ vacanamabravīt.
7. saḥ nirīkṣya tataḥ vīram rāmam dharmabhṛtām varam
samāśliṣya ca bāhubhyām idam vacanam abravīt
7. tataḥ saḥ rāmam vīram dharmabhṛtām varam nirīkṣya
ca bāhubhyām samāśliṣya idam vacanam abravīt
7. Then, having seen that hero Rama, the foremost among those who uphold natural law (dharma), and having embraced him with both arms, he (Sutīkṣṇa) spoke these words.
