वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-5, verse-21

दत्त्वा वरं चापि तपोधनानां धर्मे धृतात्मा सहलक्ष्मणेन ।
तपोधनैश्चापि सहार्य वृत्तः सुतीष्क्णमेवाभिजगाम वीरः ॥२१॥
21. dattvā varaṃ cāpi tapodhanānāṃ dharme dhṛtātmā sahalakṣmaṇena ,
tapodhanaiścāpi sahārya vṛttaḥ sutīṣkṇamevābhijagāma vīraḥ.

21. Having granted a boon to the ascetics (tapodhana), that hero, whose resolve was firmly set on (dharma), then proceeded to Sutīkṣṇa, accompanied by Lakṣmaṇa and those very ascetics, maintaining his noble conduct.
