वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-35, verse-10

वञ्चितं पितरं दृष्ट्वा कैकेय्या सत्यवादिनम् ।
करिष्यामीति धर्मात्मा ततः प्रव्रजितो वनम् ॥१०॥
10. vañcitaṃ pitaraṃ dṛṣṭvā kaikeyyā satyavādinam ,
kariṣyāmīti dharmātmā tataḥ pravrajito vanam.

10. Having seen his truth-speaking father deceived by Kaikeyī, the virtuous soul (dharmātmā) then departed to the forest, thinking, "I will fulfill my duty."
