वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-96, verse-11

अतो दुःखतरं लोके न किं चित् प्रतिभाति मा ।
यत्र रामः पितुर्दद्यादिङ्गुदीक्षोदमृद्धिमान् ॥११॥
11. ato duḥkhataraṃ loke na kiṃ cit pratibhāti mā ,
yatra rāmaḥ piturdadyādiṅgudīkṣodamṛddhimān.
11. ataḥ duḥkhataram loke na kim cit pratibhāti mā
yatra rāmaḥ pituḥ dadyāt iṅgudīkṣodam ṛddhimān
11. mā loke ataḥ duḥkhataram kim cit na pratibhāti
yatra ṛddhimān rāmaḥ pituḥ iṅgudīkṣodam dadyāt
11. Nothing in this world appears more sorrowful to me than the thought that the prosperous (ṛddhimān) Rama might offer the pulp of the Ingudi fruit to his father (pituḥ).
