वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-26, verse-15

प्रेत्यभावे ऽपि कल्याणः संगमो मे सह त्वया ।
श्रुतिर्हि श्रूयते पुण्या ब्राह्मणानां यशस्विनाम् ॥१५॥
15. pretyabhāve'pi kalyāṇaḥ saṃgamo me saha tvayā ,
śrutirhi śrūyate puṇyā brāhmaṇānāṃ yaśasvinām.
15. pretyabhāve api kalyāṇaḥ saṅgamaḥ me saha tvayā
śrutiḥ hi śrūyate puṇyā brāhmaṇānām yaśasvinām
15. api pretyabhāve tvayā saha me saṅgamaḥ kalyāṇaḥ [bhavati]
hi puṇyā śrutiḥ yaśasvinām brāhmaṇānām [sādhu] śrūyate
15. Even in the afterlife, my union with you will be auspicious. For indeed, a sacred teaching (śruti) is heard from renowned Brahmins.
