वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-70, verse-14

मां तु ज्येष्ठं पिता राज्ये सो ऽभिषिच्य नराधिपः ।
कुशध्वजं समावेश्य भारं मयि वनं गतः ॥१४॥
14. māṃ tu jyeṣṭhaṃ pitā rājye so'bhiṣicya narādhipaḥ ,
kuśadhvajaṃ samāveśya bhāraṃ mayi vanaṃ gataḥ.
14. mām tu jyeṣṭham pitā rājye saḥ abhiṣicya narādhipaḥ
kuśadhvajam samāveśya bhāram mayi vanam gataḥ

14. My father, the king, consecrated me, the eldest, to the throne. He then entrusted the responsibility (bhāram) for the kingdom and for Kushadhvaja to me, and departed for the forest.
