मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-89, verse-27

ततो निशुम्भः सम्प्राप्य चेतनामात्तकार्मुकः ।
आजघान शरैर्देवीं कालीं केसरिणं तथा ॥२७॥
27. tato niśumbhaḥ samprāpya cetanāmāttakārmukaḥ .
ājaghāna śarairdevīṃ kālīṃ kesariṇaṃ tathā.
27. tataḥ niśumbhaḥ samprāpya cetanām āttakārmukaḥ
ājaghāna śaraiḥ devīṃ kālīṃ kesariṇaṃ tathā
27. Then Niśumbha, having regained consciousness and taken up his bow, struck the Goddess, Kālī, and also her lion with arrows.
