छिन्ने चर्मणि खड्गे च शक्तिं चिक्षेप सोऽसुरः ।
तामप्यस्य द्विधा चक्रे चक्रेणाभिमुखागताम् ॥११॥

11. chinne carmaṇi khaḍge ca śaktiṃ cikṣepa so'suraḥ .

When his shield and sword were cut, that demon hurled a spear (śakti). Even that spear, as it came directly towards her, the Goddess split into two with her discus.
