चिच्छेद स्वशरैरुग्रैः शतशोऽथ सहस्रशः ॥२५॥

The Goddess cut off the arrows released by Śumbha, and Śumbha, in turn, severed the arrows she had sent, both doing so with fierce arrows, by hundreds and then by thousands.
