मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-89, verse-20

ततः काली समुत्पत्य गगनं क्ष्मामताडयत् ।
कराभ्यां तन्निनादेन प्राक्स्वनास्ते तिरोहिताः ॥२०॥
20. tataḥ kālī samutpatya gaganaṃ kṣmāmatāḍayat .
karābhyāṃ tanninādena prāksvanāste tirohitāḥ.
20. tataḥ kālī samutpatya gaganam kṣmām atāḍayat
karābhyām tanninādena prāksvanāḥ te tirohitāḥ
20. Then Kālī leaped up and struck both the sky and the earth with her hands. By that sound, all previous noises disappeared.
