एकैकस्मिंस्तथा देशे नद्यश्चाद्रिविनिः सृताः ॥२१॥

And in all nine of those regions (varṣas), there are seven principal mountain ranges each. Similarly, in each of these lands, rivers flow forth from the mountains.
