वेद्यर्धे दक्षिमे त्रीणि त्रीणि वर्षाणि चोत्तरे ।
इलावृतं तयोर्मध्ये चन्द्रार्धाकारवत् स्थितम् ॥१३॥

13. vedyardhe dakṣime trīṇi trīṇi varṣāṇi cottare .
ilāvṛtaṃ tayormadhye candrārdhākāravat sthitam.

13. vedyardhe dakṣime trīṇi trīṇi varṣāṇi ca uttare
ilāvṛtam tayoḥ madhye candrārdhākāravat sthitam

13. In the southern part (of the cosmic altar-like region), there are three continents (varṣa), and three (continents) are also in the northern part. Ilāvṛta is situated between them, shaped like a half-moon.
