एतत्खनित्रचरितं श्रुतं कल्मषनाशनम् ।
पठतां च महाभाग क्षुपस्यातो निशामय ॥२१॥

21. etatkhanitracaritaṃ śrutaṃ kalmaṣanāśanam .
paṭhatāṃ ca mahābhāga kṣupasyāto niśāmaya.

21. etat khanitracaritam śrutam kalmaṣanāśanam
paṭhatām ca mahābhāga kṣupasya ataḥ niśāmaya

21. O venerable one, this tale of Khanitra, when heard, is a destroyer of sins. And, therefore, listen to (the tale) of Kshupa, (as it is) for those who recite it.
