Indeed, a man on the verge of death (mumūrṣuḥ) perceives (paśyati) all trees (sarvān vṛkṣān) as golden (kāñcanān). Similarly, you too, O son of Gāndhārī (Gāndhāre), see (paśyasi) things contrary to reality (viparītāni).
