महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-9, verse-2

संजय उवाच ।
दक्षिणेन तु श्वेतस्य नीलस्यैवोत्तरेण तु ।
वर्षं रमणकं नाम जायन्ते तत्र मानवाः ॥२॥
2. saṁjaya uvāca ,
dakṣiṇena tu śvetasya nīlasyaivottareṇa tu ,
varṣaṁ ramaṇakaṁ nāma jāyante tatra mānavāḥ.

uttareṇa tu varṣam ramaṇakam nāma jāyante tatra mānavāḥ

2. Sanjaya said: "To the south of Mount Śveta, and indeed to the north of Mount Nīla, is a region (varṣa) called Ramaṇaka. There, humans are born."
