महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-9, verse-18

पृथिव्यापस्तथाकाशं वायुस्तेजश्च पार्थिव ।
स यज्ञः सर्वभूतानामास्यं तस्य हुताशनः ॥१८॥
18. pṛthivyāpastathākāśaṁ vāyustejaśca pārthiva ,
sa yajñaḥ sarvabhūtānāmāsyaṁ tasya hutāśanaḥ.
18. pṛthivī āpaḥ tathā ākāśam vāyuḥ tejaḥ ca pārthiva
| saḥ yajñaḥ sarvabhūtānām āsyam tasya hutāśanaḥ
18. pārthiva,
saḥ pṛthivī āpaḥ tathā ākāśam vāyuḥ ca tejaḥ.
saḥ sarvabhūtānām yajñaḥ.
tasya āsyam hutāśanaḥ.
18. O King, He is the earth, water, likewise the sky, air, and fire. He is the Vedic ritual (yajña) of all beings, and fire (hutāśana) is His mouth.
