महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-76, verse-3

अफलं मन्यसे चापि पुरुषस्य पराक्रमम् ।
न चान्तरेण कर्माणि पौरुषेण फलोदयः ॥३॥
3. aphalaṁ manyase cāpi puruṣasya parākramam ,
na cāntareṇa karmāṇi pauruṣeṇa phalodayaḥ.
3. aphalam manyase ca api puruṣasya parākramam
na ca antareṇa karmāṇi pauruṣeṇa phalodayaḥ
3. And you also consider a man's (puruṣa) valor to be fruitless. Moreover, no success (phalodaya) can arise from mere human effort (pauruṣa) without actual actions (karma).
