महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-194, verse-8

भीष्म उवाच ।
अनुरूपं कुरुश्रेष्ठ त्वय्येतत्पृथिवीपते ।
बलाबलममित्राणां स्वेषां च यदि पृच्छसि ॥८॥
8. bhīṣma uvāca ,
anurūpaṁ kuruśreṣṭha tvayyetatpṛthivīpate ,
balābalamamitrāṇāṁ sveṣāṁ ca yadi pṛcchasi.
8. bhīṣmaḥ uvāca anurūpam kuruśreṣṭha tvayi etat
pṛthivīpate balābalam amitrāṇām sveṣām ca yadi pṛcchasi
8. bhīṣmaḥ uvāca he kuruśreṣṭha he pṛthivīpate yadi
amitrāṇām sveṣām ca balābalam pṛcchasi etat tvayi anurūpam
8. Bhishma said, "O best of the Kurus, O lord of the earth, this is indeed fitting for you, if you are asking about the relative strength and weakness of both your enemies and your own forces."
