अम्बोवाच ।
मम दुःखं भगवता व्यपनेयं यतस्ततः ।
तत्तु भीष्मप्रसूतं मे तं जहीश्वर माचिरम् ॥५॥

Amba said: My sorrow must be removed by you, O Lord, in whatever way possible. But that sorrow of mine originates from Bhishma. Therefore, O Lord, kill him without delay.
