महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-17, verse-4

इन्द्र उवाच ।
स्वागतं ते महर्षेऽस्तु प्रीतोऽहं दर्शनात्तव ।
पाद्यमाचमनीयं च गामर्घ्यं च प्रतीच्छ मे ॥४॥
4. indra uvāca ,
svāgataṁ te maharṣe'stu prīto'haṁ darśanāttava ,
pādyamācamanīyaṁ ca gāmarghyaṁ ca pratīccha me.
4. indraḥ uvāca | svāgataṃ te maharṣe astu prītaḥ ahaṃ darśanāt
tava | pādyaṃ ācamanīyaṃ ca gām arghyaṃ ca pratīccha me
4. Indra said: "Welcome to you, O great sage! I am pleased by your sight. Please accept from me water for washing the feet, water for sipping (ācamanīya), a cow, and an offering (arghya)."
