महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-113, verse-6

वक्तुमिच्छामि तु सखे यथा जानासि मां पुरा ।
न तथा वित्तवानस्मि क्षीणं वित्तं हि मे सखे ॥६॥
6. vaktumicchāmi tu sakhe yathā jānāsi māṁ purā ,
na tathā vittavānasmi kṣīṇaṁ vittaṁ hi me sakhe.
6. vaktum icchāmi tu sakhe yathā jānāsi mām purā na
tathā vittavān asmi kṣīṇam vittam hi me sakhe
6. But, O friend, I wish to tell you that I am no longer as wealthy as you knew me to be before, for my wealth has indeed dwindled, O friend.
