महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-113, verse-17

गते पतगराजे तु गालवः सह कन्यया ।
चिन्तयानः क्षमं दाने राज्ञां वै शुल्कतोऽगमत् ॥१७॥
17. gate patagarāje tu gālavaḥ saha kanyayā ,
cintayānaḥ kṣamaṁ dāne rājñāṁ vai śulkato'gamat.

17. Indeed, after the king of birds had departed, Gālava, along with the maiden, pondering what would be a suitable offering (dāna) as a tribute to kings, then departed.
