महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-60, verse-6

दुर्योधनश्चापि तमुग्रतेजाः पार्थश्च दुर्योधनमेकवीरः ।
अन्योन्यमाजौ पुरुषप्रवीरौ समं समाजघ्नतुराजमीढौ ॥६॥
6. duryodhanaścāpi tamugratejāḥ; pārthaśca duryodhanamekavīraḥ ,
anyonyamājau puruṣapravīrau; samaṁ samājaghnaturājamīḍhau.
6. duryodhanaḥ ca api tam ugratejāḥ
pārthaḥ ca duryodhanam ekavīraḥ
anyonyam ājau puruṣapravīrau
samam samājaghṇatuḥ ājamīḍhau
6. And Duryodhana, endowed with fierce energy, also struck him (Bhīṣma), while Pārtha (Arjuna), the unique hero, struck Duryodhana. These two excellent heroes among men, both descendants of Ajamiḍha, thus equally struck each other in that battle.
