महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-96, verse-4

अगस्त्य उवाच ।
वित्तार्थिनमनुप्राप्तं विद्धि मां पृथिवीपते ।
यथाशक्त्यविहिंस्यान्यान्संविभागं प्रयच्छ मे ॥४॥
4. agastya uvāca ,
vittārthinamanuprāptaṁ viddhi māṁ pṛthivīpate ,
yathāśaktyavihiṁsyānyānsaṁvibhāgaṁ prayaccha me.
4. agastyaḥ uvāca vitta-arthinam anuprāptam viddhi mām pṛthivīpate
yathāśakti avihimsyān anyān saṃvibhāgam prayaccha me
4. Agastya said: "O ruler of the earth (pṛthivīpate), understand that I have arrived as one desirous of wealth (vitta-arthinam). Therefore, grant me a share (saṃvibhāgam) according to your ability (yathāśakti), without causing harm to others (avihimsyān anyān)."
