महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-35, verse-17

भूयोऽपि दुःखं मम भीमसेन दूये विषस्येव रसं विदित्वा ।
यद्याज्ञसेनीं परिकृष्यमाणां संदृश्य तत्क्षान्तमिति स्म भीम ॥१७॥
17. bhūyo'pi duḥkhaṁ mama bhīmasena; dūye viṣasyeva rasaṁ viditvā ,
yadyājñasenīṁ parikṛṣyamāṇāṁ; saṁdṛśya tatkṣāntamiti sma bhīma.
17. bhūyaḥ api duḥkham mama bhīmasena
dūye viṣasya iva rasam viditvā
yat yājñasenīm parikṛṣyamāṇām
saṃdṛśya tat kṣāntam iti sma bhīma
17. O Bhimasena, I am again distressed; it is like having experienced the taste of poison. This is because, O Bhima, having witnessed Draupadi (Yājñasenī) being dragged, that act was tolerated (kṣāntam).
