महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-288, verse-12

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
एवमुक्त्वा तु तां कन्यां कुन्तिभोजो महायशाः ।
पृथां परिददौ तस्मै द्विजाय सुतवत्सलः ॥१२॥

12. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
evamuktvā tu tāṁ kanyāṁ kuntibhojo mahāyaśāḥ ,
pṛthāṁ paridadau tasmai dvijāya sutavatsalaḥ.

12. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca evam uktvā tu tām kanyām kuntibhojaḥ
mahāyaśāḥ pṛthām paridadau tasmai dvijāya sutavatsalaḥ

12. Vaiśaṃpāyana said: 'Having spoken thus, the glorious Kuntibhoja, who was affectionate towards his daughter, gave that girl, Pṛthā, to that Brahmin (dvija).'

12. וַישַׁמְפָּאיַנַה אמר, אחרי שאמר כך לנערה, קוּנְטִיבְּהוֹג׳ַה בעל התהילה הגדולה, שאהב את בתו, מסר את פְּרְטְהָא לאותו בְּרַהְמִין.
