महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-210, verse-10

प्राणस्य चानुदात्तश्च व्याख्याताः पञ्च वंशजाः ।
देवान्यज्ञमुषश्चान्यान्सृजन्पञ्चदशोत्तरान् ॥१०॥
10. prāṇasya cānudāttaśca vyākhyātāḥ pañca vaṁśajāḥ ,
devānyajñamuṣaścānyānsṛjanpañcadaśottarān.
10. prāṇasya ca anudāttaḥ ca vyākhyātāḥ pañca vaṃśajāḥ
devān yajñamuṣaḥ ca anyān sṛjan pañcadaśa-uttarān
10. pañca vaṃśajāḥ prāṇasya ca anudāttaḥ ca vyākhyātāḥ (santi).
(saḥ) devān ca anyān yajñamuṣaḥ pañcadaśa-uttarān sṛjan (bhavati).
10. The five lineage-born (vaṃśajāḥ) are explained as related to prāṇa (vital air) and anudātta (low tone). (A creator), creating gods and other destroyers of Vedic rituals (yajñamuṣaḥ), makes them (the total number of these creations) exceed fifteen.
