अत्रैव पुत्रशोकेन वसिष्ठो भगवानृषिः ।

9. It was right here that the divine sage (ṛṣi) Vasiṣṭha, overwhelmed by grief for his sons, bound his self (ātman) and fell (into the river), but he was freed from his bonds (vipāśaḥ) and rose again.
