महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-113, verse-5

लोमश उवाच ।
रक्षांसि तानीति निवार्य पुत्रं विभाण्डकस्तां मृगयां बभूव ।
नासादयामास यदा त्र्यहेण तदा स पर्याववृतेऽऽश्रमाय ॥५॥
5. lomaśa uvāca ,
rakṣāṁsi tānīti nivārya putraṁ; vibhāṇḍakastāṁ mṛgayāṁ babhūva ,
nāsādayāmāsa yadā tryaheṇa; tadā sa paryāvavṛte''śramāya.
5. lomaśaḥ uvāca rakṣāṃsi tāni iti
nivārya putram vibhāṇḍakaḥ tām mṛgayām
babhūva na āsādayāmāsa yadā
tryaheṇa tadā saḥ paryāvavṛte āśramāya
5. Lomasha said: Vibhāṇḍaka, preventing his son from going and thinking "those are rākṣasas," went on that hunt himself. When he could not find anything for three days, he then returned to his hermitage (āśrama).
