महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-109, verse-18

इहाप्लुतानां कौन्तेय सद्यः पाप्मा विहन्यते ।
कुरुश्रेष्ठाभिषेकं वै तस्मात्कुरु सहानुजः ॥१८॥
18. ihāplutānāṁ kaunteya sadyaḥ pāpmā vihanyate ,
kuruśreṣṭhābhiṣekaṁ vai tasmātkuru sahānujaḥ.
18. iha āplutānām kaunteya sadyaḥ pāpmā vihanyate
kuruśreṣṭha abhiṣekam vai tasmāt kuru sahānujaḥ
18. O son of Kuntī (Kaunteya), for those who bathe here, sin (pāpmā) is immediately destroyed. Therefore, O best of the Kurus, perform the sacred bath (abhiṣeka) with your younger brothers.
