महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-109, verse-17

देवाश्च ऋषयश्चैव वसन्त्यद्यापि भारत ।
तेषां सायं तथा प्रातर्दृश्यते हव्यवाहनः ॥१७॥
17. devāśca ṛṣayaścaiva vasantyadyāpi bhārata ,
teṣāṁ sāyaṁ tathā prātardṛśyate havyavāhanaḥ.
17. devāḥ ca ṛṣayaḥ ca eva vasanti adya api bhārata
teṣām sāyam tathā prātaḥ dṛśyate havyavāhanaḥ
17. Gods (deva) and sages (ṛṣi) still reside there, O Bhārata. In the evening and in the morning, their fire (havyavāhana) is seen.
